Encourage
We hope to encourage and minister to the members of City Church by rooting them and grounding them in the Gospel by making the message the life, center, and outpouring of the church.
Heb. 10:24-25 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
Equip
We want to see Germans view Scripture as all sufficient for life and ministry. We hope to equip Germans with sound theological truths through expositional preaching, bible book studies, and community discussion groups. We also will seek to train up godly men and see them trained for effective ministry as future pastors.
2 Tim. 3:16-17 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
Engage
Christ commands us to make disciples (Matt. 28:19). We want Germans to engage in the mission of God by sharing the Gospel with their families, friends, co-workers, communities, country, and world through the power of the Gospel!
Rom. 10:13-14 “For ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?”
