Why Germany?
- Germany is marked by a post-Christian culture. That means that the message of the Gospel has largely been lost or confused in the public sphere.
- 60% of Germans identify as “Christian” – but that identification has little to do with their everyday life.
- Only 3.3% of those who identify as Christian attend church on a regular basis.
- >1% of Germans affirm a Gospel message of salvation by faith alone in Christ alone.
Where?
City Kirche – St. Wendel, Germany
We hope to partner with City Church in St. Wendel as a part of the eldership team. We ultimately hope to see local church leaders be trained and installed. We hope City Church shines like a light in the very dark city of St. Wendel and encourages the congregation to share the good news of Christ to their neighbors, family, friends, and co-workers. We hope to reach refugees from countries which have very limited access for western missionaries bringing the Gospel with the hope that they will one day return bringing with them the message of the Salvation to their own countrymen.
Please commit to keep the people of Germany in your prayers!
